Overview
Soccersm is a sports prediction platform where users can join challenge pools, view AI-generated prediction slips, and track leaderboards.
The frontend is built with Next.js, TailwindCSS, and React Query, integrating external sports data APIs for live fixtures, stats, and standings.
Web3 integrations with Thirdweb, Wagmi, and Viem allow users to connect wallets and participate in on-chain pools and reward flows.
Authentication combines wallet-based login, Firebase Auth, and Telegram-based quests to drive engagement.
The constraint
Two clocks that will not wait. Live fixtures arrive from external sports APIs on their own schedule, and on-chain pool settlement runs on the chain’s. The interface has to stay truthful while both are mid-flight, and fast enough that someone placing a prediction before kickoff does not lose the window.
What I owned
- Resolved frontend defects and stabilised the platform’s key user flows
- Improved frontend performance, reducing load times across the app
- Worked across the prediction, challenge pool and leaderboard surfaces
- Web3 integration via Thirdweb, Wagmi and Viem for wallet connection and on-chain pools
